MIP Packaging Supervisor – Green Medical Dispensary

The MIP Packaging Supervisor ensures all operations of the Oil Packaging Team at the MIP (Medically Infused Product) facility are performed efficiently and proper priorities are addressed on a daily basis. The primary role of this position is to maintain efficiency of the MIP Packaging Team, while upholding the company’s standards for high quality product.


  • Managing test results

o Biotrack entry

o Saving the PDF copies onto the server

o Creating potency labels

  • Keeping track of and organizing all packaging processing sheets
  • Inventory Control

o Checks both store’s stock levels of Hummingbird and refills them accordingly

o Checks IndigoPro inventory in Leaflink to maintain adequate stock levels

o Audits and tracks IndigoPro raw goods

o Aids in tracking incoming shipments

o Orders raw goods as necessary (pop tops, syringes, etc.)

o Works with Wholesale Manager on wholesale requests

  • Production

o Mixes flavors for IndigoPro

o Manifests samples to the testing lab

o Packaging machine set up and shut down

o Communicates and prioritizes daily work flow for the Packaging Team based off inventory needs

o Quality control on final product for all concentrates

o Assists in regularly scheduled inventory audits

o Coordinates drops of Hummingbird oil with Distribution Driver

o Product entry into inventory systems (METRC, Biotrack, Leaflink)

  • Maintains and creates SOP’s and department documents



  • Promotes a positive and productive company culture with kindness and respect in all situations
  • Be a positive role model for staff and uphold all policies and procedures according to company standards
  • Oversees the quality, efficiency, and consistency standards by supervising employees to ensure all protocols are followed

o Manages staff time and activity, setting daily and weekly goals to maximize productivity

o Monitors staff performance and orchestrate reviews in collaboration with HR

o Responsible for motivation, rewards, and shout-outs for staff

o Maintains employee schedules

o Institutes disciplinary action when necessary

  • Aids in the development of employees by assisting in the training of all team members
  • Expands team’s understanding of cannabis
  • Directs and tracks staff training in compliance, safety, and security




  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have no felonies at any time regarding the possession, distribution, or use of a controlled substance
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation to be able to commute from various locations
  • Must retain current Servsafe Manager course recognized by state authority

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 3-years management experience preferred
  • Experience working with concentrates is preferred
  • Understanding of METRC or Bio-track programs, preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills


Physical Demands


  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stand, or sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period of time
  • Ability to do intricate work that requires full use of both hands
  • No allergies to plants or plant environment
  • Work can be dirty/sticky and may leave you smelling like cannabis at the end of the day
  • Work environment may be loud
  • Ability to move quickly, at times
