Cannabis & Glass, a growing recreational cannabis retailer, is seeking a Financial Analyst/Bookkeeper to join it’s corporate staff. We have two locations, approximately 40 employees and project $15 million in annual revenue for 2017. We are a seeking a versatile candidate with experience in finance, accounting, data analysis, bookkeeping and office administration. This position will be a pivotal role in providing support to the CEO. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail is a must, along with a commitment to excellence in a fast paced environment. Candidate must be comfortable and familiar with cannabis; ideal candidate is a regular consumer of the product.
Roles & Responsibilities:
maintaining all books through the preparation of financial statements
recording assets, leases, and expenditures
performing monthly bank reconciliation
managing payroll and timecards of all employees
filing federal and state payroll tax returns and computing related deposits
managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, daily deposits, bank statement reconciliation, journal entries, financial statements, income and expense projections, and general cash management
reviewing and analyzing finances to ensure accuracy; investigating and identifying variances and suspicious activity in all accounts
monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements
processing vendor invoices to ensure accuracy
developing of accounting policies and procedures
processing time sensitive data in accordance with deadlines
maintaining knowledge of small business & cannabis tax requirements
working directly with outside CPA to prepare all necessary documents
2 – 5 years of experience in a similar role with comparable or relatable responsibilities.
Will consider a recent graduate from a Master’s program with past work history, relevant internship and/or course work.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management and/or Mathematics is required. An MBA or MAcc is preferred.
Minimum intermediate proficiency with QuickBooks & Excel. Must be comfortable using third party applications and websites.
Full Time (40-50 hrs per week)
Hours & Location:
Monday – Friday; 7:30 am – 5:30 pm with an hour break for lunch; some nights & weekends may be required. Will work out of company HQ located in Spokane Valley.

Position reports directly to the Director of Operations & and also to the CEO.
