We’re a print magazine located in Denver, Colorado, devoted exclusively to medical marijuana, looking for an account executive to sell ad space. We’re off to a strong start and are looking to add to our team. The right candidate will have a sales background with verifiable experience and professional references. Because you’ll be out there on your own, you’ll need to be self-motivated and should not need basic sales training. Knowledge or experience in the medical marijuana or I 502 industry is preferred.
You’ll establish new accounts within your sales territory as well as maintain and grow current accounts. Your responsibilities will include cold-calling potential new clients to inquire about ad placement. In addition, you’ll be taking requests for ad space, creating sales letters and scripts, and communicating regularly with in-house magazine staff.
This would be a great fit for someone already doing outside sales in the I 502 or medical marijuana industry and could easily be done alongside what you’re currently selling. It does require previous sales experience and exceptional knowledge of the industry.
This position is straight commission.

– Must be very organized and detail oriented.
– Must be at least 21 Years old.
